Postpartum Homevisits &

Baby Craniosacral

The days and weeks after birth can be both a tender and transformative time, a window for deep healing, integration, and support. Prema’s Postpartum Homevisits are an offering of presence, touch, and care for mothers and families in the sacred fourth trimester and beyond.

Rooted in traditional postpartum wisdom drawing from TCM, Ayurveda, Latin America and holistic somatic bodywork, these sessions are designed to gently support your physical recovery, emotional wellbeing, and nervous system regulation. These Homevisits are a fusion of Prema’s love for holistic bodywork and full-spectrum Doula support right in the comfort of your own home.

Prema offers gentle and grounding bodywork sessions tailored to your unique postpartum needs. This may include a weaving of:

  • Craniosacral Therapy to ease tension and support emotional integration

  • Gentle womb and belly massage to support your body’s natural healing

  • Womb-warming practices, if appropriate the Traditional Japanese practice of Moxibustion to promote circulation and balance

  • Belly Wrapping/Binding to help close physically and energetically your hips and field.

  • Space to be held and heard because all that you are feeling and the journey that led you to where you are now is so valid and important to be shared. Supporting birth processing and debriefing.

Whether you are days, weeks, or months postpartum, this visit is an opportunity to pause, reconnect with yourself and be deeply cared for.

Baby Craniosacral Therapy

Just as mothers benefit from gentle, integrative care in the postpartum period, so do babies. Prema also offers Craniosacral therapy for newborns and infants, a gentle touch hands-on modality that supports the settling of the nervous system, birth integration, and overall wellbeing.

Common reasons families seek craniosacral support for their babies include:

  • Difficult or fast births

  • Breastfeeding or latch challenges

  • Tension in the body (arching, stiffness, unsettledness)

  • Support for sleep and digestion

  • A desire to gently welcome and support baby’s transition into the world

These sessions are baby-led, slow, and deeply respectful. Parents are present and involved throughout.
