Doula Client Testimonials

  • “We hired Prema as our doula (postpartum and birth) for our forth little bubba and can’t recommend her highly enough. Her beautiful nature, generous heart and insights were so appreciated.

She is a master in holding space and has such a beautiful gift knowing how to deeply care for others. She has been so sweet with our other three kiddies and stepped in and helped looking after them when I gave birth too. Knowing she was around when we needed to be transferred to hospital made all the difference to us. The kiddies adore her. Prema knows all the magic labour positions and guided me with such intuitive moves - I felt she knew exactly what I needed while labouring when to be present and when to magically fade into the background.

There are no words that can truly express my gratitude for Prema’s support and care during my birth and my postpartum healing journey. THANK YOU from the bottom of my heart for being you and holding space for us!!!”

  • “For the birth of my first child Prema supported me in pregnancy and postpartum, which included craniosacral therapy, abhyanga massage, nourishing cooking, and both mother blessing and closing the bones ceremonies. It’s hard to find words that do justice to the true essence of Prema’s generous and authentic care. She is beautifully skilled in many modalities, yet the greatest gift to receive is the impeccable quality of her presence. In her company I feel deeply at ease and truly held. She brings brightness and warmth to a room and her healing touch and sweet voice are a salve for the spirit. She is all heart! I’m so grateful I found Prema to walk alongside me on my journey from maiden to mother. She nurtured the creation of our new family and when the time comes for us to expand I would love her support again.”

  • “I feel extremely lucky to have Prema as my birth and postpartum doula. Long hours of labour, Prema was there reassuring, encouraging both me and my partner, and making sure I was hydrated, fed and warm. Her thoughtfulness, passion, deep knowledge and strong voice to advocate for us make her so great as a doula. It was so awesome to continue having Prema to support me through postpartum. She had a network of practitioners and mentors to seek assistance for my individual healing. I found it so valuable to have a sister like her, who's trained and knows the best how to hold space for women going through the rite of passage, to share my ups and downs with. To be seen, heard and held by Prema walking the most important period of my life, it was pure bliss and I can't thank you enough Prema for all you have done for me.”

  • “When I met Prema it was definitely the moment when I understood the importance that every woman should have a Doula. She gives meaning to the role of a Doula because her work, dedication and commitment to her service are essential. Prema is present and takes care of women with all her 5 senses and with a love that transcends body and soul.”

  • “Prema played an incredibly vital role in the birth of our beautiful first born. Prema offered both a much-needed practical support as well as emotional support. I was a little disappointed in the birth that I couldn’t provide the relief my partner needed massaging her hips, Prema gracefully and respectfully came in with the right touch to provide the relief my partner needed. It was clear from the planning process she was organised and respectful of how we wanted to have the birth, adding bits of wisdom here and there to create as smooth a process as possible. All potential avenues were discussed prior to the birth which put us at ease for whatever outcome ensued. I’m sure many fathers can attest to the birth of their first born being a pretty wild experience, but I felt a lot more confident with Prema by my side riding the ocean with my beloved. After the home-birth the three of us lay on the couch and Prema fed us, cleaned the house and then left, we felt extremely blessed and grateful.”

  • “I would highly recommend Prema as a Doula and Craniosacral Therapist. Prema supported me and my partner during the birth of our son with Presence and Love. It was really important to me that our Doula was supportive of our decisions but also had knowledge and experience to answer our queries if needed. Prema did this with Grace and feel safe and grounded in the birth process. Receiving Craniosacral treatments from Prema helped to support my birth process, it was extremely nurturing. Plus, Prema’s delicious meals have been such a big help!”
