• 4 weeks ~ 2 weeks pre and 2 weeks post  “estimated due date.” From around 38-42 weeks gestation.

• Available for text messages and calls within this time.

• Available to be called into the birth space when you are ready ~  usually around the end of pre-labour. If birthing at the birth centre, recommended to meet at your home prior. 

Be held and nurtured in presence with gentleness, love and care.

Supporting the birth team throughout the labour. Holding sacred space throughout the unfolding journey and tending tenderly to arising needs.

Intuitively weaving various skills into the space, drawing from both experience and knowledge. Integrative touch and energetic bodywork, various birth/labour tools, (toning sound/singing/chanting, rebozo, acupressure, massage, movement, different active birthing positions, witnessing), advocating and communicating with professionals if necessary.

Prema supports and encourages a natural uninterrupted physiological birth. She is available to support VBAC, twins, posterior positions.

This meeting is focused as a check-in and birth debrief/reflection.

We can also explore strategies to support immediate postpartum with either local professional referrals or considering any of my postpartum care services.

(Hours can be added to one of the Postpartum Homevisits)

Weekly homevisit’s for 3 weeks.

• Any additional hours can be arranged for extra, at Prema’s postpartum doula service rate

• Various supportive services and treatments will be weaved together to create a uniquely tailored postpartum package. Services are precisely chosen to optimise nourishment for the family and to meet the arising requirements post birth.

Each visit includes; connection check-ins and specific postpartum bodywork.

Services can include:

• Biodynamic Craniosacral Therapy: gentle bodywork that can help integrate the birth, process trauma and strengthen connection bonds between mother and baby. Mother and baby can be treated together.  

• Integrative postpartum bodywork

• Abhyanga Ayurvedic Oil Massage (using organic black sesame oil) ~ and teaching for self practice for both mother and baby (only available 21 days postpartum for mother and 11 days for baby)

• Belly wrapping/binding (access to borrow from Prema’s belly wrapping library)

• Womb warming traditional practices: Castor Oil Pack, Moxibustion, Sitz bath, Yoni Steam

• Guided meditation & relaxation. Sound healing with mantra

• Birth Story processing/debriefing

• Breastfeeding support

• Emotional support and guidance

• Local errands / grocery shopping- funds to be provided by the client in advance.

• Quality local professional referrals if needed

Each visit includes organic (where possible) ingredients and herbs.

• 1 x savoury dish (4-5 serves)

• 1 x sweet dish (3-4 serves)

• 1 x medicinal tea/elixir (2-3 serves)

All food is prepared with traditional postpartum food physiology and understanding. Easy to digest, warming, blood building principles to improve recovery and support breastfeeding.

Receive Prema’s nourishing and nurturing bodywork skills tailored to you in pregnancy and postpartum. Intuitively weaving; Craniosacral Therapy, massage & Rebozo.

To be received at Prema’s Mullumbimby Clinic or alongside a prenatal meeting or a travel fee will be charged additionally depending on location.

Mother Blessing Ceremony ~

Recommended around 34-36 weeks gestation. Can include; lush nature surroundings, closest friends, divine mother kirtan with mantra and meditation, red thread connection ritual, cacao or chai, blessing shower and connection time sharing prayers and wishes for this approaching birth journey.

Prema has also facilitated many smaller blessings with the same sweetness that just includes the partner (and previous children) if this is preferred over a bigger circle of community.

La Cerrada ~ Closing of the Bones Ceremony

Prema has been given permission to share through the transmission of renowned Mexican midwife Naoli Vinaver.

• 3-5 hours ceremony that supports the integration after an expansion specifically birth. Helps close/contain the mothers energetic field and bring warmth into the body, releasing any coldness from within.

• includes; birth de-brief, oil massage, herbal steam, sweat and using traditional rebozo cloth to wrap the body/close the bones.

Womb Wrap ~ Sutika Bandhana

Organic traditional woven Indian cotton in a 2.4m wrap used to support in pregnancy, postpartum, menstruation.

Nabhi Oil ~ 15mL

An Ayurvedic Raju family medicated herbal oil, used in the navel for an Ayurvedic daily practice called Nabhi Chikitsa. Used specifically in this package for grounding, nourishment and hormonal/energy support.

$5500 AUD + travel fees

30% deposit due upon booking Doula Package - with remaining balance due at least one month before estimated due date.
